Utah High School Football - Mountain Crest smashes Bear River

The Mountain Crest Mustangs (Hyrum, UT) football trounced the host Bear River Bears (Garland, UT), 56-0 in Friday's league outing.

The Mustangs now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Tooele for a 4A Region 11 outing on Thursday, October 9. Mountain Crest will clash with a Buffaloes squad coming off a 28-0 league loss to Green Canyon (North Logan, UT). The Buffaloes record now stands at 2-6.

With the defeat, Bear River drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Bears host Deseret Peak (Tooele, UT) to clash with the Golden Eagles in a 4A Region 11 outing on Thursday, October 9. The Golden Eagles come into the outing with a record of 0-8. Deseret Peak lost 55-0 in their recent league outing against Sky View (Smithfield, UT)
