The St. Patrick Shamrocks football squad scored 46 points and limited the host Benet Academy Redwings to 24 in the Shamrocks league triumph on Friday.

The Shamrocks now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Laurence for a non-league test on Friday, October 10. St. Patrick will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 41-7 league loss to Fenwick (Oak Park, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 4-2.

With the defeat, Benet Academy falls to 3-3 on the year. The Redwings travel to Fenwick (Oak Park, IL) to face the Friars in a non-league challenge on Friday, October 10.
