Texas High School Football - Cherokee crushed by Benjamin
October 3, 2025: Benjamin, TX 79505 Benjamin Mustangs (Benjamin, TX) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Cherokee Indians (Cherokee, TX), 68-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Benjamin improves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Mustangs host Guthrie (Guthrie, TX) to play the Jaguars in a 1A 6 Man 2 Region II District 7 (6 Man) battle on Thursday, October 9. The Jaguars go into the battle with a record of 4-1. Guthrie won 68-0 in their recent non-league battle against Hedley (Hedley, TX)
The Indians now have a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host DaVinci for a non-league test on Friday, October 10.
