The Fort Stockton Panthers football squad scored 42 points and limited the host Big Spring Steers to 21 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Seminole for a 4A-2 Region I District 1 test on Friday, October 10. Fort Stockton will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 45-28 non-league win over Hereford (Hereford, TX). The Indians record now stands at 4-2.

With the defeat, Big Spring drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Steers travel to Kermit (Kermit, TX) to face the Yellow Jackets in a non-league game on Friday, October 10. The Yellow Jackets enter the game with a record of 1-4. Kermit won 54-0 in their recent non-league game against Van Horn (Van Horn, TX)
