In Friday's league match, the visiting Bishop O'Dowd Dragons football squad scored a good 54-42 victory over the Castro Valley Trojans.

The Dragons (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Berkeley (Berkeley, CA). The Yellowjackets enter the West Alameda County - Foothill match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Berkeley thwarted San Leandro (San Leandro, CA), 21-18, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Trojans confront the Moreau Catholic Mariners (Hayward, CA) in a West Alameda County - Foothill match, on Thursday, October 9. Castro Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Mariners enter the match with a 1-5 record after their 24-19 league loss to James Logan (Union City, CA).
