South Carolina High School Football - Ridge Spring-Monetta bested by Blackville-Hilda

The Blackville-Hilda Fighting Hawks football squad scored 25 points and limited the visiting Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans to 14 in the Fighting Hawks league triumph on Friday.

The Fighting Hawks now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wagener-Salley for a A Region 3 test on Friday, October 10. Blackville-Hilda will meet a War Eagles team coming off a 76-0 league loss to Hunter-Kinard-Tyler (Neeses, SC). The War Eagles record now stands at 2-4.

The Trojans (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Williston-Elko (Williston, SC). The Blue Devils enter the A Region 3 challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Williston-Elko fell by Calhoun County (St. Matthews, SC), 20-14, in a league challenge.
