The Edmund Burke Academy Spartans football squad (Waynesboro, GA), was outscored 35-7 in Friday's league test with the visiting Brentwood War Eagles (Sandersville, GA)

The War Eagles now hold a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Augusta Prep for a GIAA AA/A District 4 challenge on Friday, October 17.

The Spartans (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Augusta Prep (Augusta, GA). The Cavaliers come into the GIAA AA/A District 4 test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, Augusta Prep went down by Briarwood Academy (Warrenton, GA), 24-0, in a league test.
