Alabama High School Football - Briarwood Christian falls to Corner

October 3, 2025: Birmingham, AL 35242

The Corner Yellow Jackets felled the host Briarwood Christian Lions football team by a score of 42-27 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Yellow Jackets face the Hayden Wildcats (Hayden, AL) in a 5A Region 5 challenge, on Friday, October 10. Corner will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 73-6 league loss to Ramsay (Birmingham, AL).

The Lions (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against John Carroll Catholic (Birmingham, AL). The Cavaliers go into the 5A Region 5 test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, John Carroll Catholic was defeated by Wenonah (Birmingham, AL), 33-14, in a league test.
