The Robert Lee Steers walloped the host Bronte Longhorns football team by a score of 70-20 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Steers face the Irion County Hornets (Mertzon, TX) in a 1A 6 Man 1 Region II District 8 (6 Man) test, on Friday, October 10. Robert Lee will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record. The Hornets come into the test with a 1-5 record after their 60-12 non-league loss to May (May, TX).
