The Lake Havasu Knights (Lake Havasu City, AZ) football knocked off the host Buckeye Hawks (Buckeye, AZ), 44-28 in Friday's league outing.

The Knights now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Deer Valley for a 4A West Valley outing on Friday, October 10. Lake Havasu will clash with a Skyhawks squad coming off a 45-21 non-league loss to Chaparral (Scottsdale, AZ). The Skyhawks record now stands at 3-3.

With the defeat, Buckeye drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Youngker (Buckeye, AZ) to clash with the Roughriders in a 4A West Valley game on Friday, October 10. The Roughriders enter the game with a record of 6-0. Youngker won 42-20 in their recent league game against Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ)
