New Jersey High School Football - Buena thwarted by St. Joseph

St. Joseph Wildcats (Hammonton, NJ) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Buena Chiefs (Buena, NJ), 34-8 in a non-league battle.

With the win, St. Joseph improves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Atlantic County Institute of Tech (Mays Landing, NJ) to play the in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 11. The go into the battle with a record of 2-3. Atlantic County Institute of Tech lost 16-0 in their recent non-league match against Absegami (Galloway, NJ)

Coming up next, the Chiefs meet the New Egypt Warriors (New Egypt, NJ) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 10. Buena will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 2-3 record after their 47-14 non-league win over Lakewood (Lakewood, NJ).
