Minneapolis Southwest Lakers (Minneapolis, MN) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Camden/FAIR Downtown (Minneapolis, MN), 7-6 in a non-league battle.

With the triumph, Minneapolis Southwest upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Lakers travel to Washburn (Minneapolis, MN) to play the Millers in a Skyway - Blue test on Friday, October 10. The Millers come into the test with a record of 4-2. Washburn won 49-0 in their recent league test against Highland Park (St. Paul, MN)

With the defeat, Camden/FAIR Downtown drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The travel to North Community (Minneapolis, MN) to meet the Polars in a non-league test on Friday, October 10.
