Louisiana High School Football - Catholic - N.I. sneaks past Lake Charles College Prep
October 3, 2025: Lake Charles, LA 70607 The Catholic - N.I. Panthers football squad scored 49 points and limited the host Lake Charles College Prep Trailblazers to 42 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Franklin for a 2A District 7 test on Friday, October 10. Catholic - N.I. will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 36-34 non-league win over Patterson (Patterson, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 2-2.
With the defeat, Lake Charles College Prep drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Trailblazers travel to Jennings (Jennings, LA) to face the Bulldogs in a 3A District 3 challenge on Thursday, October 9. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Jennings won 37-21 in their recent non-league challenge against DeRidder (DeRidder, LA)
