October 3, 2025: Dayville, OR 97825 Sherman Huskies (Moro, OR) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Dayville/Monument/Long Creek Tigers (Dayville, OR), 46-13 in a league battle.
With the win, Sherman improves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Huskies travel to Wallowa (Wallowa, OR) to play the Cougars in a 1A Special District 1 (6 Man) test on Friday, October 10. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 1-5. Wallowa lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Harper (Harper, OR)
With the defeat, Dayville/Monument/Long Creek drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Ione/Arlington (Ione, OR) to meet the Cardinals in a 1A Special District 1 (6 Man) challenge on Friday, October 10. The Cardinals go into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Ione/Arlington lost 59-24 in their recent league challenge against South Wasco County (Maupin, OR)
