The Hoxie Indians football team (Hoxie, KS), dropped 24-12 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Decatur Community Red Devils (Oberlin, KS)

With the win, Decatur Community advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Red Devils host Rawlins County (Atwood, KS) to battle the Buffaloes in a Northwest Kansas (8 Man) bout on Friday, October 17. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a record of 3-2.

The Indians now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Hill City for a Mid-Continent bout on Friday, October 10. Hoxie will encounter a Ringnecks team coming off a 62-18 league win over St. Francis (St. Francis, KS). The Ringnecks record now stands at 4-1.
