California High School Football - Placer tops Del Campo

October 3, 2025: Auburn, CA 95603

The Placer Hillmen football team scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Del Campo Cougars to 26 in the Hillmen league triumph on Friday.

The Hillmen now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Twelve Bridges for a Foothill Valley test on Friday, October 10. Placer will meet a Raging Rhinos squad coming off a 56-17 league win over Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA). The Raging Rhinos record now stands at 6-0.

With the defeat, Del Campo drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Cougars host Yuba City (Yuba City, CA) to meet the Honkers in a Foothill Valley test on Friday, October 10. The Honkers come into the test with a record of 3-3. Yuba City lost 8-0 in their recent league challenge against Roseville (Roseville, CA)
