South Dakota High School Football - West Central edged by Dell Rapids
October 3, 2025: Dell Rapids, SD 57022 The Dell Rapids Quarriers tipped the visiting West Central Trojans football squad by a margin of 21-20 in Friday's league test.
The Quarriers now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Canton for a Dakota 12 test on Friday, October 10. Dell Rapids will meet a C-Hawks squad coming off a 40-0 league loss to Lennox (Lennox, SD). The C-Hawks record now stands at 2-4.
With the defeat, West Central falls to 4-2 on the year. The Trojans host Dakota Valley (North Sioux City, SD) to face the Panthers in a Dakota 12 challenge on Friday, October 10. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 4-2. Dakota Valley won 17-14 in their recent non-league challenge against Beresford (Beresford, SD)
