Eaglecrest Raptors (Centennial, CO) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Smoky Hill Buffaloes (Aurora, CO), 48-7 in a league battle.

With the win, Eaglecrest upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Raptors travel to Cherokee Trail (Aurora, CO) to confront the Cougars in a 5A Centennial match on Friday, October 10. The Cougars come into the match with a record of 2-4. Cherokee Trail lost 49-12 in their recent league match against Cherry Creek (Greenwood Village, CO)

Coming up next, the Buffaloes confront the Grandview Wolves (Aurora, CO) in a 5A Centennial match, on Thursday, October 9. Smoky Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Wolves come into the match with a 3-3 record after their 21-17 league loss to Arapahoe (Centennial, CO).
