October 3, 2025: Iola, WI 54945 Edgar Wildcats (Edgar, WI) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Iola-Scandinavia Thunderbirds (Iola, WI), 55-0 in a league match.
The Wildcats (7-0) will now prepare for their match against Pacelli (Stevens Point, WI). The Cardinals come into the Marawood Central Wisconsin match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, Pacelli was routed by Aurora Central Catholic (Aurora, IL), 41-6, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Thunderbirds meet the Pittsville Panthers (Pittsville, WI) in a Marawood Central Wisconsin match, on Friday, October 10. Iola-Scandinavia will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 1-5 record after their 30-6 league win over Assumption (Wisconsin Rapids, WI).
