Ohio High School Football - Elyria falls to Steele

The Steele Comets felled the host Elyria Pioneers football team by a score of 47-16 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Comets meet the Avon Eagles (Avon, OH) in a Southwestern test, on Friday, October 10. Steele will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 6-1 record after their 52-0 league win over Midview (Grafton, OH).

With the defeat, Elyria drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Midview (Grafton, OH) to meet the Middies in a Southwestern test on Friday, October 10. The Middies come into the test with a record of 3-4. Midview lost 52-0 in their recent league challenge against Avon (Avon, OH)
