The Enfield Eagles football team (Enfield, CT), was crushed 50-15 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting New Britain Golden Hurricanes (New Britain, CT)

With the win, New Britain advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Golden Hurricanes host Southington (Southington, CT) to encounter the Blue Knights in a Central Connecticut - Tier 1 contest on Friday, October 10. The Blue Knights enter the contest with a record of 2-2. Southington won 36-30 in their recent league contest against Hall (West Hartford, CT)
