The Falkner Eagles football squad scored 33 points and limited the visiting Smithville Seminoles to 29 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Ashland for a 1A Region 2 test on Friday, October 17.

With the defeat, Smithville drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Seminoles travel to Byers (Holly Springs, MS) to face the Lions in a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 9. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 3-2. Byers lost 48-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Rosa Fort (Tunica, MS)
