October 3, 2025: Vanceburg, KY 41179 The Fleming County Panthers walloped the host Lewis County Lions football team by a score of 43-0 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers play the East Carter Raiders (Grayson, KY) in a 3A District 6 challenge, on Friday, October 10. Fleming County will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Raiders go into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 41-6 league win over Bath County (Owingsville, KY).
The Lions (0-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Russell (Russell, KY). The Red Devils go into the 3A District 6 test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Russell triumphed over Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY), 49-14, in a league test.
