Mississippi High School Football - Forest tops Mendenhall

October 3, 2025: Forest, MS 39074

The Forest Bearcats football squad scored 37 points and limited the visiting Mendenhall Tigers to 26 in the Bearcats league triumph on Friday.

The Bearcats now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Raleigh for a non-league test on Friday, October 10. Forest will meet a Lions squad coming off a 57-0 league win over McLaurin (Florence, MS). The Lions record now stands at 5-1.

With the defeat, Mendenhall drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host Morton (Morton, MS) to face the Panthers in a 4A Region 6 challenge on Friday, October 10. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 3-3. Morton won 51-7 in their recent league challenge against Richland (Richland, MS)
