In Friday's league match, the host Huss Huskies football squad scored a close 32-29 victory over the Forestview Jaguars.

The Huskies (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Crest (Shelby, NC). The Chargers enter the Big South 5A/6A match with a 5-1 record. In their last match, Crest got by South Point (Belmont, NC), 42-7, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Jaguars confront the Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC) in a Big South 5A/6A battle, on Friday, October 17. Forestview will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record.
