The Fort Dodge Dodgers were victorious over the host Spencer Tigers football team by a score of 47-28 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Dodgers face the Storm Lake Tornadoes (Storm Lake, IA) in a 4A District 1 challenge, on Friday, October 10. Fort Dodge will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Tornadoes come into the test with a 2-4 record after their 59-14 league loss to Sergeant Bluff-Luton (Sergeant Bluff, IA).

With the defeat, Spencer drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Tigers host Sioux City West (Sioux City, IA) to clash with the Wolverines in a 4A District 1 test on Friday, October 10. The Wolverines come into the test with a record of 1-5. Sioux City West lost 38-6 in their recent league test against Le Mars (Le Mars, IA)
