In Friday's league match, the host Kennedy Knights football squad scored a decisive 58-20 triumph over the Fort Hamilton Tigers.

The Knights (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Curtis (Staten Island, NY). The Warriors come into the PSAL 4A match with a 6-0 record. In their last match, Curtis routed New Dorp (Staten Island, NY), 49-0, in a league battle.

The Tigers now have a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Port Richmond for a PSAL 4A battle on Saturday, October 18. Fort Hamilton will play a Raiders team coming off a 39-8 league win over Canarsie (Brooklyn, NY). The Raiders record now stands at 3-3.
