October 3, 2025: Fort Collins, CO 80528 The Fossil Ridge SaberCats football squad (Fort Collins, CO), was beaten 24-14 in Friday's non-league match with the visiting Legacy Lightning (Broomfield, CO)
The Lightning (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Mullen (Denver, CO). The Mustangs come into the 5A Front Range - South match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Mullen defeated Vista PEAK Prep (Aurora, CO), 40-12, in a league match.
Next up, the SaberCats play the Rocky Mountain Lobos (Fort Collins, CO) in a 5A Front Range - North battle, on Friday, October 10. Fossil Ridge will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Lobos go into the battle with a 3-3 record after their 28-0 league win over Brighton (Brighton, CO).
