Fountain Inn Fury (Fountain Inn, SC) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Laurens Raiders (Laurens, SC), 26-7 in a league battle.

With the win, Fountain Inn advances its record to 4-2 on the season. The Fury travel to Wren (Piedmont, SC) to play the Hurricanes in a AAAA Region 1 battle on Friday, October 10. The Hurricanes go into the battle with a record of 4-2. Wren won 45-44 in their recent league battle against Emerald (Greenwood, SC)

The Raiders now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Southside for a AAAA Region 1 match on Friday, October 10. Laurens will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 55-0 league loss to Westside (Anderson, SC). The Tigers record now stands at 0-6.
