Pennsylvania High School Football - Franklin Regional prevails Fox Chapel

October 3, 2025: Murrysville, PA 15668

Franklin Regional Panthers (Murrysville, PA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Fox Chapel Foxes (Pittsburgh, PA), 21-10 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Franklin Regional improves its record to 1-6 on the season. The Panthers host Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA) to play the Warriors in a WPIAL AAAAA Big East battle on Friday, October 10. The Warriors go into the battle with a record of 6-1. Penn-Trafford won 33-23 in their recent league battle against Gateway (Monroeville, PA)

The Foxes now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Plum for a WPIAL AAAAA Northeast match on Friday, October 10. Fox Chapel will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 14-13 league loss to North Hills (Pittsburgh, PA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-5.
