Freer Buckaroos (Freer, TX) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Premont Cowboys (Premont, TX), 26-12 in a league match.

The Buckaroos (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Kaufer (Riviera, TX). The Seahawks come into the 2A-1 Region IV District 16 match with a 0-5 record. In their last match, Kaufer was beaten by Refugio (Refugio, TX), 74-0, in a league match.
