The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting Garinger Wildcats (Charlotte, NC), witnessed Myers Park's football squad wallop Garinger by a tally of 58-0.

With the win, Myers Park advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Mustangs host Hopewell (Huntersville, NC) to encounter the Titans in a Greater Charlotte 7A/8A bout on Friday, October 10. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Hopewell lost 46-20 in their recent league bout against South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC)
