Missouri High School Football - Lutheran thwarted by Gateway Tech
October 3, 2025: St. Louis, MO 63110 Gateway Tech Jaguars (St. Louis, MO) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Lutheran Cougars (St. Peters, MO), 33-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Gateway Tech improves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Confluence Prep Academy/Grand Center Arts Academy (St. Louis, MO) to meet the Titans in a non-league test on Thursday, October 9. The Titans come into the test with a record of 0-5. Confluence Prep Academy/Grand Center Arts Academy lost 26-18 in their recent non-league challenge against Normandy (St. Louis, MO)
The Cougars (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Mary's South Side (St. Louis, MO). The Dragons go into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, St. Mary's South Side toppled Rolla (Rolla, MO), 42-21, in a non-league challenge.
