South Dakota High School Football - Gettysburg falls to Herreid/Selby

October 3, 2025: Gettysburg, SD 57442

The Herreid/Selby Wolverines felled the host Gettysburg Battlers football team by a score of 38-12 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Wolverines play the Sully Buttes Chargers (Onida, SD) in a Yellowstone Trail (9 Man) challenge, on Friday, October 10. Herreid/Selby will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Chargers come into the test with a 6-0 record after their 50-0 non-league win over Faith (Faith, SD).

With the defeat, Gettysburg drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Battlers travel to Timber Lake (Timber Lake, SD) to meet the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, October 10. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-4. Timber Lake won 46-28 in their recent league test against Lemmon/McIntosh (Lemmon, SD)
