October 3, 2025: Amarillo, TX 79108 Gruver Greyhounds (Gruver, TX) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host River Road Wildcats (Amarillo, TX), 54-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Gruver advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to Stratford (Stratford, TX) to play the Elks in a 2A-2 Region I District 1 match on Friday, October 10. The Elks come into the match with a record of 4-2. Stratford lost 41-26 in their recent non-league match against Childress (Childress, TX)
