The crowd at Friday's league contest between the St. Paul's Episcopal Saints (Mobile, AL) and the visiting Gulf Shores Dolphins (Gulf Shores, AL), witnessed St. Paul's Episcopal's football squad edge Gulf Shores by a tally of 27-23.

The Saints (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Saraland (Saraland, AL). The Spartans enter the 6A Region 1 bout with a 6-0 record. In their last bout, Saraland nudged Baldwin County (Bay Minette, AL), 28-0, in a league bout.

The Dolphins now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Spanish Fort for a 6A Region 1 bout on Friday, October 10. Gulf Shores will encounter a Toros team coming off a 41-22 league win over Blount (Eight Mile, AL). The Toros record now stands at 4-3.
