Arkansas High School Football - South Side wallops Guy-Perkins
October 3, 2025: Bee Branch, AR 72013 The South Side Hornet football squad scored 56 points and limited the visiting Guy-Perkins Thunderbirds to 16 in the Hornet league triumph on Friday.
The Hornet now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cedar Ridge for a 8-Man - North (8 Man) challenge on Friday, October 10. South Side will face a Timberwolves team coming off a 28-0 non-league loss to Subiaco Academy (Subiaco, AR). The Timberwolves record now stands at 1-1.
The Thunderbirds (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Rector (Rector, AR). The Cougars enter the 8-Man - North (8 Man) game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Rector was trounced by Corning (Corning, AR), 40-12, in a non-league game.
