The Halstead Dragons football team (Halstead, KS), dropped 40-21 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Minneapolis Lions (Minneapolis, KS)

With the win, Minneapolis upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Lions travel to Beloit (Beloit, KS) to confront the Trojans in a North Central AA contest on Friday, October 10. The Trojans enter the contest with a record of 2-3. Beloit won 52-22 in their recent league contest against Norton (Norton, KS)

Coming up next, the Dragons confront the Ellsworth Bearcats (Ellsworth, KS) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 10. Halstead will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Bearcats enter the contest with a 4-1 record after their 54-32 non-league loss to Hillsboro (Hillsboro, KS).
