River Hill Hawks (Clarksville, MD) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Hammond Golden Bears (Columbia, MD), 53-6 in a non-league battle.

With the win, River Hill advances its record to 2-3 on the year. The Hawks host Wilde Lake (Columbia, MD) to confront the Wildecats in a Class 2A West match on Friday, October 10. The Wildecats enter the match with a record of 1-4. Wilde Lake won 36-15 in their recent league match against Mt. Hebron (Ellicott City, MD)

Coming up next, the Golden Bears confront the Reservoir 'Gators (Fulton, MD) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 10. Hammond will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record.
