Pennsylvania High School Football - North Star triumphant over Hancock

October 3, 2025: Boswell, PA 15531

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the North Star Cougars (Boswell, PA) and the visiting Hancock Panthers (Hancock, MD), witnessed North Star's football squad wallop Hancock by a count of 41-6.

The Cougars (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Northern Bedford County (Loysburg, PA). The Panthers enter the Inter-County - South contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Northern Bedford County was routed by Meyersdale (Meyersdale, PA), 19-18, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Panthers confront the Stonewall Jackson Generals (Quicksburg, VA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 10. Hancock will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Generals go into the battle with a 0-6 record after their 54-0 non-league loss to Craig County (New Castle, VA).
