October 3, 2025: Rose Hill, NC 28458

The Hobbton Wildcats (Newton Grove, NC) football trounced the host Union Spartans (Rose Hill, NC), 46-12 in Friday's league outing.

The Wildcats now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Bladen for a Carolina 1A/2A game on Monday, October 6. Hobbton will face a Eagles team coming off a 15-14 league loss to North Duplin (Calypso, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 4-2.

The Spartans (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Lakewood (Roseboro, NC). The Leopards enter the Carolina 1A/2A outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, Lakewood trounced West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC), 35-20, in a league outing.
