In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Hodgeman County Longhorns football squad scored a decisive 59-0 victory over the Stafford Trojans.

The Longhorns (5-0) will now prepare for their match against Macksville (Macksville, KS). The Mustangs enter the non-league match with a 0-5 record. In their last match, Macksville was routed by South Central (Coldwater, KS), 60-6, in a non-league battle.

The Trojans now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Victoria for a non-league battle on Friday, October 10. Stafford will play a Knights team coming off a 46-0 league win over St. John (St. John, KS). The Knights record now stands at 5-0.
