Pennsylvania High School Football - Riverside wallops Holy Cross
October 3, 2025: Taylor, PA 18517 The Riverside Vikings football squad scored 58 points and limited the visiting Holy Cross Crusaders to 6 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.
The Vikings now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carbondale Area for a Lackawanna 3 test on Friday, October 10. Riverside will meet a Chargers squad coming off a 35-7 league loss to Lackawanna Trail (Factoryville, PA). The Chargers record now stands at 4-3.
With the defeat, Holy Cross drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Old Forge (Old Forge, PA) to face the Blue Devils in a Lackawanna 3 challenge on Saturday, October 11. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 1-6. Old Forge won 30-0 in their recent league challenge against Susquehanna (Susquehanna, PA)
