In Friday's non-league battle, the host King's Academy Lions football team scored a big 50-7 win over the Somerset Prep .

With the win, King's Academy improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Lions travel to Somerset Academy - Canyons (Boynton Beach, FL) to play the Cougars in a 2A District 11 battle on Thursday, October 9. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 1-4. Somerset Academy - Canyons lost 16-13 in their recent non-league battle against American Heritage (Delray Beach, FL)
