The Leland Cubs football squad scored 36 points and limited the host Palmer Dragons to 8 in the Cubs league triumph on Friday.

The Cubs now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Charleston for a 2A Region 3 test on Friday, October 10. Leland will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 49-14 non-league loss to DeSoto Central (Southaven, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, Palmer drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to North Side (Shelby, MS) to meet the Gators in a 2A Region 3 test on Friday, October 10.
