California High School Football - Linden over River Islands

October 3, 2025: Linden, CA 95236

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Linden Lions (Linden, CA) and the visiting River Islands Riptide (Lathrop, CA), witnessed Linden's football squad knock off River Islands by a tally of 32-20.

The Lions (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against Bret Harte (Angels Camp, CA). The Bullfrogs go into the Mother Lode League bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, Bret Harte dropped by Big Valley Christian (Modesto, CA), 26-21, in a league bout.

The Riptide now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Summerville for a Mother Lode League bout on Friday, October 10. River Islands will encounter a Bears team coming off a 35-7 league loss to Calaveras (San Andreas, CA). The Bears record now stands at 4-2.
