Georgia High School Football - Mary Persons tops Trinity Christian

October 3, 2025: Forsyth, GA 31029

The Mary Persons Bulldogs football squad scored 42 points and limited the visiting Trinity Christian Lions to 20 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host LaGrange for a AAA Region 2 test on Friday, October 10. Mary Persons will meet a Grangers squad coming off a 45-20 league win over Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA). The Grangers record now stands at 6-1.

With the defeat, Trinity Christian drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Lions host Troup County (LaGrange, GA) to meet the Tigers in a AAA Region 2 test on Friday, October 10. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 6-0. Troup County won 35-7 in their recent league test against Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA)
