In Friday's league game, the Mascoutah Indians (Mascoutah, IL) football team were victorious over the visiting Triad Knights (Troy, IL), by a score of 16-7.

In their next game, the Indians face the Civic Memorial Eagles (Bethalto, IL) in a Mississippi Valley game, on Friday, October 10. Mascoutah will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 1-5 record after their 40-17 league loss to Highland (Highland, IL).

The Knights (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against Jersey (Jerseyville, IL). The Panthers come into the Mississippi Valley outing with a 1-5 record. In their last outing, Jersey was defeated by Waterloo (Waterloo, IL), 48-14, in a league outing.
