Ohio High School Football - Riverside triumphant over Mayfield
October 3, 2025: Painesville, OH 44077 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Riverside Beavers (Painesville, OH) and the visiting Mayfield Wildcats (Mayfield, OH), witnessed Riverside's football squad wallop Mayfield by a tally of 49-14.
The Beavers (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH). The Bombers enter the Western Reserve contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Kenston was crushed by South (Willoughby, OH), 35-11, in a league bout.
The Wildcats now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Chardon for a Western Reserve bout on Friday, October 10. Mayfield will encounter a Hilltoppers team coming off a 44-6 league win over North (Eastlake, OH). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 4-3.
