The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Mineral Ridge Rams (Mineral Ridge, OH) and the host Memorial Red Devils (Campbell, OH), witnessed Mineral Ridge's football squad wallop Memorial by a tally of 49-13.

The Rams (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Springfield (New Middletown, OH). The Tigers enter the Mahoning Valley - Scarlet contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Springfield crushed Western Reserve (Berlin Center, OH), 17-6, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Red Devils confront the McDonald Blue Devils (McDonald, OH) in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet contest, on Friday, October 10. Memorial will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Blue Devils enter the contest with a 7-0 record after their 21-14 league win over Lowellville (Lowellville, OH).
